Today, I had the privilege of spending the day with students from the intermediate and higher-level vocational training programs (CFGM and CFGS) at the Institut de Sostenibilitat i Medi Ambient de Barcelona (ISMAB). These students are specializing in fields such as water management, renewable energy, and water distribution and treatment infrastructure. It was an encounter full of energy, curiosity, and a clear desire to build a solid professional future.
My goal was simple: to show them that the vocational training they are currently pursuing leads to real, high-quality career paths with unstoppable growth—especially in sectors like HVAC (heating, ventilation, and air conditioning) and DHW (domestic hot water), where technology, efficiency, and sustainability are advancing at a rapid pace.

I explained how their education aligns perfectly with a sector that demands professionals capable of working with advanced systems, integrating renewable energy sources, and understanding the impact of water and energy on the environment. This is precisely where highly valuable job opportunities emerge.
Vocational Training as a Driver for the Future of HVAC and DHW
The students discovered that their skill set is essential for:
Working with aerothermal systems—a technology that is currently transforming the HVAC landscape in Spain.
Contributing to energy efficiency and sustainability projects.
Participating in the installation, maintenance, and optimization of state-of-the-art HVAC and DHW equipment.
Securing specialized technical roles that are in high demand across the country.
BAXI: Continuous Learning and Real Employment Opportunities
I also encouraged them to continue their education once they enter the workforce. Vocational training is just the beginning; professional growth comes through continuous learning—and this is where BAXI plays a fundamental role. I have introduced them to the training program that BAXI offers to professionals across Spain—an exclusive, free program available both at their in-person training center and via their online platform:

It is a space where they can expand their skills in areas such as:
Aerothermal energy (heat pumps)
Hybrid systems
Efficient domestic hot water (DHW) production
Integration of renewable energy sources
Up-to-date technical regulations
Furthermore, I highlighted that BAXI does more than just provide training—it also offers employment. Their technical service teams (SAT) throughout Spain are composed of qualified professionals who are building stable, prestigious, and promising careers.
Inspiring, guiding, and opening doors
The presentation served as a reminder that their training has a tangible impact on sustainability, the energy transition, and the quality of life for thousands of people. It also underscored that the HVAC and domestic hot water sector is a field where they can grow, specialize, and build a highly regarded career.
Leaving the classroom with the knowledge that a bright future, real opportunities, and clear paths lie ahead is, without a doubt, the best motivation to keep moving forward.
