My Experience at IES Los Albares (Cieza, Murcia) with MAXGE
A few days ago, I had the opportunity to have a particularly enriching experience at IES Los Albares in Cieza (Murcia), where, together with MAXGE, I shared a profound reflection with students and teachers on the present and future of Vocational Training in Spain.
A day where we not only talked about training, but about something much more important: real opportunities for the future.

Vocational Training and Business: An Essential Connection
After many years connected to the business world, I have a clear message that I wanted to convey emphatically:
👉 Vocational Training is not an alternative, it is a first choice.
Today, companies need skilled, practical, and adaptable talent. And that is where Vocational Training plays a fundamental role.
The data backs it up:
📊 According to the Dualiza CaixaBank Vocational Training Observatory, 81% of job offers in Spain require candidates with technical skills related to Vocational Training.
This isn’t just a statistic. It’s a reality that is already shaping the job market.
Breaking stigmas: the great challenge
During the conference, we also addressed one of the major challenges we continue to face as a society:
❌ The traditional view that considers Vocational Training a secondary option.
It’s time to change that mindset.
✔️ Vocational Training offers employability
✔️ Vocational Training connects directly with businesses
✔️ Vocational Training produces qualified and in-demand professionals
And most importantly: Vocational Training builds solid life plans.
The role of educational centers
I want to highlight the great work being done at centers like IES Los Albares, where the commitment to students and the connection with the business community are evident.
These spaces are key to:
🔹 Properly guiding young people
🔹 Adapting training to the realities of the market
🔹 Fostering technical vocations
Thank you for making this possible.
My gratitude to the entire team at the center and to MAXGE for including me in this experience.
Because every talk, every meeting, is an opportunity to continue building something essential:
👉 a society that values technical talent and professional effort.
Vocational training is experiencing its best moment.
And the question is no longer whether to invest in it…
The question is:
👉 Are we, as a society, prepared to give it the value it truly deserves?VocationalTraining #DualVocationalTraining #YouthEmployment #Education #Talent #BusinessAndTraining #CareerGuidance #Industry #TechnicalTraining #FutureOfWork #Skills #Vocation #EducationSpain #VocationalTraining2025 #LearningByDoing
