Vocational Training: Connecting Talent with the Future of the Technology and Energy Sector

This week I had another one of those experiences that reaffirms why Vocational Training is not just an option… but a true catalyst for transformation.

I had the opportunity to spend a day at the Antonio Machado High School in Alcalá de Henares (Madrid), a center that once again demonstrates why it is a national leader in Vocational Training. Its more than 2,600 students and a highly committed teaching staff reflect a vibrant, dynamic Vocational Training program aligned with the business world.

On this occasion, the day was especially enriching thanks to the support of FERMAX, a leading company in intercom, video intercom, and connectivity solutions, which is firmly committed to young talent and direct connections with educational institutions.

During the conference, we shared a clear vision with students from Intermediate and Advanced Vocational Training programs:

👉 The energy, electrical, and technology sector is no longer the future… it’s the present.

👉 And it needs trained, adaptable, and digitally minded professionals.

Today, vocational training students not only acquire solid technical knowledge, but also develop key skills such as digital literacy, teamwork, and the ability to adapt to real-world environments. Furthermore, many of them complement their training with international experiences that further enrich their professional profiles.

These kinds of events allow for something fundamental: bringing the business world closer to the classroom and showing students that their training has a direct impact on the job market.

I want to especially acknowledge the work of the center’s teaching staff, whose daily commitment makes it possible for vocational training to continue growing in quality and prestige. And, of course, I want to thank FERMAX for its involvement in initiatives that build real bridges between education and business.

Because when education and business walk hand in hand… the future is built stronger.

We continue building paths ⚡
