held my last voluntary mentoring session with Abde, the young man I’ve mentored for two years through the Impulsa Foundation.
A cycle is coming to an end, but it’s coming to an end in the best possible way: Abde has successfully completed his Intermediate Vocational Training and is now enrolled to continue his journey toward a Higher Vocational Training program.

I couldn’t be more proud. It has been an enriching and deeply emotional experience for both of us. He has provided the energy, enthusiasm, and desire to move forward. I have provided my experience and my commitment to his personal and professional development. And the result has been a great ending… or rather, a great beginning for him.
Mentoring transforms, and not just the young person. As a mentor, I take away as much as I give. And although I’m closing this period with Abde, I will continue with enthusiasm and dedication next year, supporting another young person on their journey.
Thank you, Abde, for your trust.
Thank you, Impulsa Foundation, for making this very human journey possible.
We continue to build futures.
