Supporting Centers Building the Future: A Day with FERMAX at the Barcelona Nautical Institute during Blue Week 2026

I had the opportunity to experience a particularly inspiring day with FERMAX, accompanying the Barcelona Nautical Institute in the complementary activities organized for Blue Week 2026, which was recently celebrated.

This experience, once again, reinforces my conviction that Vocational Training needs much more than just good programs: it needs real partnerships, ongoing commitment, and a clear focus on the values that foster the growth of individuals and the productive sector.

Strengthening Centers Strengthens Vocational Training
During this day, I was able to spend time with the teaching staff, students, and professionals who actively participate in the life of the center. My role, as on so many other occasions, was to support and strengthen Vocational Training centers with a message I consider key:
Vocational Training is the present and the future.

Supporting a center like the Institut de Nàutica de Barcelona means recognizing the value of:

the dedication of the educational teams,

the genuine focus on employability,

and the training of professionals who meet the real needs of the sector.

Throughout my experience promoting Vocational Training and Dual Vocational Training, I continue to advocate for the essential role of fostering motivation, a culture of professionalism, professional responsibility, and pride in belonging to a technical sector that is strategic for our country.

The commitment of companies makes all the difference. I want to especially highlight the role of FERMAX, a company that demonstrates, once again, that its support for Vocational Training is not occasional or circumstantial, but ongoing.

The involvement of companies like FERMAX in events like Blue Week goes far beyond a one-off collaboration. It translates into:

close relationships with the centers,

direct contact with students,

active participation in training activities,

and a clear vision of Vocational Training as the primary path for developing young talent.

This type of corporate commitment is what truly helps centers advance, innovate, and offer training connected to the professional world.

Blue Week: an opportunity to inspire vocations
Blue Week 2026 was an excellent opportunity to bring the maritime, technical, and industrial professional world closer to students, inspire vocations, and demonstrate, in a practical way, that there are solid, attractive, and promising training pathways within Vocational Training.

For me, being able to support the Institut de Nàutica de Barcelona and FERMAX in these activities means continuing to contribute to what I consider a priority: creating stable bridges between centers and companies, and strengthening Vocational Training based on values, commitment, quality, and a focus on employment.

We continue working, day after day, to ensure that Vocational Training occupies the place it deserves in our society.
