As part of ExpoJove Girona 2026, I had the opportunity to participate in a very special conference organized by the Girona Installers’ Guild, with a clear objective: to bring the professional world closer to young people who are training today and who will be the future of our sector tomorrow.
This initiative has allowed the guild to open its doors to students in Training Programs (PF) and Professional Certificates (CP) from several leading centers in the region such as the Institut Sant Feliu de GuÃxols, Institut Santa Eugènia, Institut Serrallarga, Comastech and CIFO Girona.

From training to the professional world
One of the great challenges we have as a sector is to ensure that the transition from training to the world of work is natural, oriented and accompanied. In this sense, collaboration between educational centers and entities such as the guild is key.
During the day, we were able to explain firsthand the role of the guild: an entity that not only represents and defends the interests of the sector, but also accompanies companies and professionals in their day-to-day lives.
A point of support for new professionals
The support that the guild offers to new professionals who join companies or who decide to embark on their own path is particularly relevant. Information, advice, a network of contacts and specialized services are just some of the tools that are made available to them.
This support is reinforced with the collaboration of Fenie EnergÃa, a strategic partner that brings added value to the sector and helps promote new opportunities for installers.
Connecting talent, training and business
These types of initiatives are essential if we want to continue to dignify the professions, generate vocations and guarantee generational succession in the installation sector.
We must continue working to break down barriers, bring realities closer together and, above all, build bridges between the educational world and the business world.
Because the future of the sector is not only shaped in classrooms… it is also built by opening doors.
