Maristak Durango: A Leader in Vocational Training in Spain

This week I had the opportunity to visit the Maristak Durango Training Center in Gipuzkoa, and it was, without a doubt, a fantastic experience.

From the very first moment, the center’s commitment to educational excellence, pedagogical innovation, and practical training as the cornerstone of Vocational Training is evident. Its model combines technical learning, human values, and a connection to the business world, enabling its students to be perfectly prepared for the challenges of the present and the future.

I especially want to thank Daniel Irazola, its director, for his warm welcome, his approachability, and the energy he conveys in every word and project. Under his leadership, Maristak has established itself as a leading center in Spain, capable of inspiring the entire Vocational Training community.

These best practices, based on collaboration with companies, ongoing professional development for teachers, and a commitment to technology and sustainability, demonstrate that Vocational Training is a driving force for change and social progress.

Leaving Maristak leaves you with the feeling that the future of technical education is in good hands.

Thank you for this inspiring experience!
