As part of its cybersecurity and digital responsibility strategy, FERMAX has announced its recent membership in the CVE® (Common Vulnerabilities and Exposures) program as a CVE Numbering Authority (CNA), under the supervision of the National Cybersecurity Institute (INCIBE).
This initiative aligns with the Valencian company’s commitment to offering secure connected solutions, ensuring the privacy of communications, and protecting user data throughout the entire lifecycle of its products. To this end, FERMAX has a multidisciplinary team specialized in cybersecurity, dedicated to strengthening the protection of its technological solutions and ensuring regulatory compliance regarding privacy.

The purpose of the CVE® program is to identify, define, and catalog publicly disclosed cybersecurity vulnerabilities. FERMAX’s designation as a CNA recognizes its ability to detect and assign unique CVE identifiers to vulnerabilities that may affect its products. In this way, the company contributes to more transparent management aligned with international best practices in cybersecurity.
“The standardization of this process consolidates FERMAX as a benchmark company in security. It also recognizes the effort and best practices we apply to protect our products throughout their entire lifecycle and guarantee the privacy of communications and data,” explains Francisco Sánchez, CTO Software at FERMAX. “This procedure will allow us to be much more agile and transparent in managing and resolving any potential vulnerabilities that are detected.”
To encourage collaboration with its community of users and professionals, FERMAX has enabled a vulnerability reporting form in the Cybersecurity section of its website. Through this channel, anyone can report potential security flaws so that the specialized team can analyze them and swiftly implement the necessary corrective measures.
