Following the success of the Cora Connect 4G outdoor panel, Fermax takes another decisive step in its strategy with the launch of Iris by Fermax, its new range of hands-free home terminals featuring Duox Plus technology. The Valencia-based manufacturer redefines the concept of the residential video intercom by simplifying home communication through a minimalist design, an intuitive user experience, and technology that is both advanced and human-centric.

Manufactured entirely in Valencia (Spain) and designed to gradually replace the current Veo range, Iris incorporates improvements in both user experience and installation. Under the slogan “Everything Counts,” Fermax presents a fresh perspective on the home, where every detail—whether visible or invisible—has been conceived to foster a more natural experience.
Designed by listening to installers
“The Iris range is not the result of a mere aesthetic update; it represents a new way of understanding home technology: advanced, elegant, and intuitive,” explains Juan Madrid, Product Director at Fermax.
Rooted in the philosophy that innovation is not about adding more technology, but rather making it more accessible and human, Iris was born from experience and active listening to the company’s sales network and “Fermax Ambassadors”—trusted professionals who played an active role in the range’s development. “This time, we wanted the key difference to lie in the sum of many small details: a minimalist aesthetic with an ultra-slim profile for seamless architectural integration; new finishes—including, for the first time, a black monitor option with Duox Plus technology; and a simplified interface focused on core functions,” Juan details.
Additionally, Iris offers superior audio quality, accessibility, and installation flexibility thanks to its compatibility with the Veo range’s universal connector, thereby streamlining work on replacement projects.
Iris Smart Wi-Fi: the new home control hub
For the first time, Fermax is launching a premium range designed for the most distinctive projects. The new Iris Smart Wi-Fi range offers truly comprehensive management from a single screen, featuring fast, fluid navigation.
Available in white or black, and equipped with a high-resolution 7” sliding touchscreen and a high-performance processor, Iris Smart Wi-Fi monitors also come standard with call forwarding, connectivity to home automation servers, and an integrated web browser for real-time access to online content.
“Users can, for example, check the weather forecast or traffic conditions before leaving home, as well as enjoy other advanced features—all from their video intercom screen,” explains Nathalie Pouëssel, CMO at Fermax.
Cora and Iris: connectivity in perfect harmony
The new Iris by Fermax range of terminals was designed to evolve alongside the company’s digital services, rounding out a generation of solutions for the connected building. “Cora and Iris create a solution that connects the exterior and interior, seamlessly bridging both worlds while meeting a growing demand among users: feeling safe in their own homes. In just three years, we have taken a decisive step in the evolution of our connected ecosystem with the launch of the Connect 4G panels, the Cora panel, and now the Iris range. These three milestones reflect our capacity to innovate with a coherent vision as we continue to build the future of the connected home,” concludes Nathalie.
