Today I had the opportunity to experience a particularly enriching day as an Ambassador at the Schneider Electric Route 26 stop, held at GES Cabrera de Mar. This initiative is traveling through Spain and Portugal to bring innovation, energy efficiency, and digitalization closer to professionals in the electrical sector.
A Meeting Point for Sector Transformation
From the very first moment, there was a palpable atmosphere of collaboration and learning. Route 26 is not just an exhibition space: it is a meeting point where manufacturers, distributors, installers, and professionals share vision, challenges, and solutions to move towards a more sustainable and efficient energy model.
At today’s stop, in GES Cabrera de Mar, I was able to speak with Sergio Merchán, Regional Sales Distributor at Schneider Electric, and numerous professionals who, like me, firmly believe in the importance of innovation applied to everyday work. Energy, automation, and digitalization are no longer futuristic concepts: they are essential tools for building a more competitive and responsible sector.
Technology Driving Change
During the visit, I had the opportunity to learn firsthand about Schneider Electric’s latest solutions: from energy management systems to connected devices that simplify installers’ work and improve building efficiency.
Each demonstration reinforced a key idea: the energy transition will only be possible if technology reaches every level of the sector, from design to final installation.
