Discovering the Future of Vocational Training at Tech Show Madrid 2025 with Schneider Electric

Yesterday I had the opportunity to visit Data Centre World, one of the events at Tech Show Madrid 2025, an essential meeting point to learn about the latest technological innovations and trends transforming the energy and digital sectors.

During my visit, I couldn’t miss a stop at my partner Schneider Electric, a company I admire not only for its leadership in sustainability and digitalization, but also for its strong commitment to Vocational Training (VT) and fostering young talent.

Although the official event program didn’t include a specific presentation on VT, Schneider’s presence at booth 7D20 (Hall 7, Data Centre area) was a clear statement of intent: innovation, efficiency, and the future.

Training to Transform

Schneider Electric has been collaborating with VT centers and universities for years, offering internship programs, scholarships, and specialized training in automation, energy management, and digital skills. Their purpose is clear: to prepare young people for the real challenges of the sector, connecting training with industry and contributing to skilled and sustainable employment.

Innovation and sustainability as cornerstones of learning

At their stand, visitors were able to learn about the latest solutions in energy efficiency, digitalization, and smart infrastructure management. These technologies will undoubtedly shape the future of many vocational training programs and technical professions.
Visits like this allow us to see firsthand how the green and digital transition translates into new job opportunities and a vocational training system more connected to the challenges of today.

Reflections for teachers and educators

For those of us who work closely with the educational ecosystem, events like the Tech Show are a unique opportunity to update our knowledge, forge alliances, and bring the business world into the classroom. Schneider Electric demonstrates, once again, that collaboration between companies and educational institutions is key to building a modern, useful, and future-oriented vocational training system.
