Girona, April 2025 – Comastech Centre Politècnic Comas, specialized in technical training in areas such as mechanics, mechatronics and other industrial sectors, has announced the incorporation of Georgina Comas Vieta as the center’s new CEO. This incorporation, effective from the beginning of March 2025, aims to strengthen the connection between companies, people and institutions, promoting collaboration and the development of the industrial sector.
Georgina Comas Vieta, until now CEO of TMCOMAS, is also vice president and co-founder of the Comas Foundation. This foundation, manager of the Comastech comprehensive training center, was promoted by TMCOMAS in response to the widespread difficulty in finding well-trained talent in the market to incorporate into companies. The Comas Foundation aims to train people in a sector full of opportunities, disseminate technology, awaken vocations, attract talent and provide opportunities to people at risk of exclusion, creating a cluster of companies that add value to talent training and take advantage of the talent generated from Comastech.
Comastech offers comprehensive training in areas such as mechanical manufacturing, mechatronics, welding, boilermaking and refrigeration and air conditioning installations. The training programs include higher-level training cycles and employment-oriented initiatives, as well as continuing training for professionals who want to improve their qualifications.
With the arrival of Georgina Comas Vieta, Comastech reaffirms its commitment to continue adapting to the needs of the industrial sector, offering practical training close to business reality, and strengthening collaboration between companies, people and institutions for the economic and social development of the region.
