I recently had the opportunity to experience one of those days that resonates deeply with the core meaning of my life and career: the presentation of my book, “Building Dual Paths,” to Vocational Training students at the CIPFP El Canastell in San Vicent del Raspeig (Alicante).

It was an energetic, reflective, and forward-looking event, where Vocational Training was placed at the center for what it truly is: a driver of progress, employability, and social transformation.
I want to express my special gratitude for the impressive support and collaboration of ABB, the book’s sponsor, whose involvement reinforces the company’s genuine commitment to technical talent and Vocational Training.
I also extend my thanks to the entire faculty of instructors at the center for their daily dedication, rigor, and commitment to the students. Without their constant work, none of this would be possible.
A very special thank you to José Rubio Jiménez, a national leader in vocational training and the promotion of skills, whose work has been—and continues to be—key to raising the level of excellence of the system and bringing vocational training closer to the standards that the future demands.
And, of course, to Carlos Llorca, for leading a solid, coherent educational project, connected to the business world and deeply focused on the future.
The CIPFP El Canastell is a clear example of how vocational training can become an ecosystem of opportunities when there is vision, leadership, and collective commitment.
I take away from this day sincere conversations with the students, insightful questions, and a shared certainty: vocational training is not an alternative, it is a valuable choice.
We continue building dual pathways.
