In order to cope with the growth of the company in Spain and Portugal, BAXI, the leading brand in air conditioning systems, belonging to the Dutch group BDR Thermea, has decided to invest in larger and more modern facilities located in the Parc Logístic in Barcelona, where 121 members of its staff will work, starting on Monday 19 June. BAXI is leaving behind its facilities on Calle Salvador Espriu, in l’Hospitalet de Llobregat (Barcelona), which it had occupied since October 2005, on a rented basis, as well as the new premises in the Parc Logístic.
After 18 years in l’Hospitalet de Llobregat, BAXI has decided to expand, modernise and make its facilities more comfortable and move to the Parc Logístic in Barcelona as of Monday 19 June. 121 employees from different areas of the company, including the commercial branch in the East area, occupy the 1,850 square metres of surface area. BAXI will share the building on a rental basis with other brands such as Somfy or Saba.
The new facilities have been designed to have individual work spaces with all the comforts and technical requirements and open and comfortable common spaces that promote creativity and teamwork.
The building located at Av. Parc Logístic 22 in Barcelona has a BREEAM certificate, which certifies compliance with the highest requirements in terms of building sustainability. This requirement is aligned with BAXI’s business strategy aimed at contributing to the decarbonisation of buildings.
