BAXI brings together its network of distributors at its annual meeting at the Atlético de Madrid stadium

At the meeting, BAXI reviewed the situation of the sector and announced new products, especially in aerothermal energy.

The Atlético de Madrid women’s team, of which BAXI is a sponsor, hosted the meeting, with the participation of Lola Romero, Director of the women’s team.

BAXI, a specialist in the manufacture of air conditioning equipment for the home, held its annual distributors convention on September 26 at the Civitas Metropolitano Stadium of the Atlético de Madrid football team, consolidating its commitment to being the partner of this channel.

More than 200 people attended a private meeting where the BAXI management team discussed the market situation, the legislative framework, advances in investments in aerothermal energy manufacturing as well as upcoming product launches.

Joan Blanch, general manager of BAXI in Spain and Portugal, took the opportunity to share strategic plans. In the words of Joan Blanch, “we have invested in increasing the production capacity of all the BDR Thermea group’s aerothermal plants, and BAXI is especially proud to have consolidated the industrial project of creating an R&D and production centre for aerothermal plants in Vilafranca del Penedés, Barcelona, ​​which is already starting to ship the first Platinum PBM3 medium and high power heat pump units.”

Sustainability and decarbonisation of buildings were one of the central themes of the event. Jaume Alcover, Marketing Director, outlined the main product innovations that can be discovered at the next edition of CyR in November, highlighting the BC Monobloc PBM3 R32 and PBM4 R290 high temperature equipment for the market for equipment in centralised rooms.

As a culmination of the event, attendees had the privilege of listening to Lola Romero, the Director and co-founder of the Atlético de Madrid women’s team, who shared her vision on teamwork, the future of women’s football and the achievements of Atlético de Madrid women’s team, such as winning the Queen’s Cup in the last edition.
