An Inspiring Day at ISB Barcelona: Motivation, Training, and Professional Future

Last November 11th, I had the great privilege of delivering a fantastic motivational talk to all the students at the ISB Institute in Barcelona during the morning session. It was a day filled with energy, inspiration, and a sense of vocation, where we shared real-world experiences about the value of Vocational Training, the world of trades, and the key role of young people as protagonists in the transformation of the industrial, electrical, and technological sectors.

This activity was made possible thanks to the special and invaluable collaboration of Schneider Electric, a brand committed to sustainability, digitalization, and young talent. Their support allowed us to provide students with professional materials, up-to-date knowledge, and a global vision of new smart solutions for the installations of the future.

I would also like to thank the entire faculty of ISB for their dedication, as well as its academic director, Mr. Jordi Molina, the true driving force and leader of the center’s educational project. His commitment to high-quality, modern training linked to the business world is an example for the entire educational community.

During the day, we distributed promotional materials to the students, reinforcing their motivation and sense of belonging, and made a particularly meaningful gesture: we donated a digital clamp meter to the center, an essential tool in electrical and telecommunications workshops.

This instrument will be key to the students’ practical training, allowing them to prepare according to the Low Voltage Electrotechnical Regulations (REBT) before beginning their work placements in companies, for all levels of Vocational Training (Basic, Intermediate, and Advanced). This is another step towards strengthening the technical and professional quality of the country’s future installers and technicians.

Motivation, knowledge, and career guidance are essential pillars for our young people to discover their talents and build their futures. And days like this demonstrate that: Vocational Training is more vibrant than ever, and its potential is enormous.
