Today I had the opportunity to experience a particularly enriching day at FERMAX headquarters in Valencia, where I attended the presentation of the Career Pathway Program, an initiative that connects training and job opportunities within the technology and building services sector.
From the very beginning, the warm welcome from Alba Gómez and RosalÃa Giménez set the tone for the friendly and collaborative approach that characterizes this leading company. After the welcome, RosalÃa Giménez presented the Career Pathway Program, designed to connect young people and professionals in training with the realities of the business world, promoting their employability in an increasingly technological and connected environment.

The session continued with a presentation by Arturo Ahuir, who shared an interesting perspective on employment opportunities in the field of video intercom installations, a rapidly expanding sector that is key to the digital transformation of smart buildings.
Next, Cristina Sebastián presented the CEEME project – Special Employment Center – which demonstrates FERMAX’s commitment to job inclusion and social responsibility. Afterwards, we had the opportunity to tour the factory, guided by RosalÃa, Verónica, and Sergio, learning firsthand about the design and manufacturing process of technological solutions that combine innovation, sustainability, and quality.
After a coffee break for exchanging ideas, Verónica Lasso introduced us to the CEFIRE courses and internship programs, opening a discussion about opportunities for the 2025-2026 academic year. This discussion highlighted the importance of collaboration between vocational training centers and leading companies in the sector.
The day concluded in the Innovama Room, with a shared feeling that the future of vocational training undoubtedly lies in programs like Pasarela al Empleo (Pathway to Employment): projects that unite talent, technology, and a commitment to quality employment.
I feel particularly drawn to the philosophy of this initiative, which aligns with my vocation to promote and connect Vocational Training with the real world of work, fostering new opportunities for young people preparing for the trades and professions of tomorrow.
