The air conditioning sector in Spain has historically demonstrated an enormous capacity for adaptation. Those of us who have been in this field for years have experienced cycles of expansion and crisis: real estate bubbles, economic recessions, regulatory changes, and technological transformations. Nothing new. Or at least that’s what we thought.
However, the current situation introduces a different variable: global geopolitical uncertainty.
In recent years, the international landscape has been altered by conflicts and tensions that have reconfigured the rules that, in some ways, had remained stable since the end of World War II. The consequences are not only political or strategic: they have a direct impact on energy, raw materials, and therefore, on our sector.
Today, talking about air conditioning is talking about energy. And talking about energy is talking about geopolitics.
