I recently had the extraordinary opportunity to visit the Training Centre for Refrigeration and Air Conditioning Technologies in Moratalaz, Madrid. My role as an expert disseminator in Vocational Training brought me to this dynamic centre, where I was able to see first-hand how specialised technical education is shaping the future of the industry.
The centre is dedicated to providing training through Professional Certificates, ensuring that each student not only acquires in-depth technical knowledge, but also obtains an officially recognised qualification, essential for their entry into the labour market. This certification method ensures quality education aligned with the current needs of the industry, preparing highly qualified professionals in a field that is fundamental to our daily comfort and well-being.
During my visit, I was able to interact with several students and teachers, all passionate and committed to their field. I was particularly impressed by the integration of sustainable and efficient technologies into their curriculum, preparing students to face and solve challenges related to sustainability and energy efficiency.
The centre’s commitment to excellence and innovation is clear and deeply rooted in its educational mission. Watching future technicians practice and master their craft in such a well-equipped environment was a truly inspiring experience.
I am grateful to the Centre for Training in Refrigeration and Air Conditioning Technologies for allowing me to share this experience with them and for their tireless dedication to quality training. This visit has not only reaffirmed my faith in FP as a pillar of professional development, but has also reinforced the importance of Professional Certificates as a valuable route to technical specialization.
