On Friday, June 12th, I had the honour of attending the TrobaFira Gibaix 2026, invited by GiBaix President Fernando Maldonado and Director Silvia Balcells. This event brings together companies, professionals and emerging talent to promote training, skills accreditation and the development of future technical vocations.
The event, held at the Gibaix headquarters and featuring more than 700 m² of outdoor exhibition space, gathered manufacturers, distributors, live demonstrations and activities specifically designed for installation professionals. A key meeting point to understand where our sector is heading and how we can continue strengthening it through collaboration and shared knowledge.
We also had the institutional presence of CONAIF President Francisco Alonso, Director Ana García, and Luis María Franco, Head of Training, reinforcing the joint commitment to professional qualification and the development of the installation sector.
This year’s edition stood out thanks to Álex Zsurzs and Dani from Constructipp, who brought energy and interaction with their flaring challenge, where attendees could compete to beat their time and win a guaranteed prize.
The TrobaFira also included several initiatives that added great value for participants:
- Free entry for installers
- Raffle of a Zontes 125E motorbike for members
- Raffle of a Xiaomi Electric Scooter 6 for non-members
- Flaring challenge with a guaranteed prize for the best time
- Breakfast or lunch for all attendees
A complete, useful and inspiring day that shows how, when centres like Gibaix, companies and institutions work together, the sector grows, modernises and creates new opportunities for everyone.
