Today, I would like to dedicate a few words to Andy, one of the students I have the privilege of supporting through a mentoring process.
He has successfully completed his first year of Higher Vocational Education and Training (VET), passing all his subjects. An achievement that deserves recognition, not only because of the result itself, but also because of the hard work, perseverance, commitment, and determination he has demonstrated throughout the year.

As a mentor, it is incredibly rewarding to see how consistent effort eventually pays off. Academic success is rarely a matter of luck; behind every achievement there are hours of dedication, sacrifice, discipline, and a genuine willingness to keep learning and improving.
Although the academic year has ended and schools will remain closed until September, our mentoring journey continues. Learning does not follow a calendar. We all have the opportunity to keep growing, developing new skills, strengthening our values, and reinforcing the convictions that help us face life’s challenges.
Over the coming months, we will continue meeting regularly to prepare for the next academic year, but also to focus on something equally important: personal growth, self-confidence, and the ability to approach the future with purpose and enthusiasm.
Congratulations, Andy. This is just another step along a path full of opportunities.
Let’s keep growing.
Let’s keep learning.
Let’s keep moving forward.
