Yesterday I had the opportunity to experience a very special day participating as a volunteer mentor in the 2025/2026 End of Year event held in Sabadell, under the motto:
“Together we make the path, together we drive the future”
A meeting full of emotions, learning and hope, shared with the 47 pairs of mentors and mentees from the territories of Terrassa and Sabadell, who have been part of this transformative project promoted by the Impulsa Foundation.
During the event we had the participation of Francesc Roca Rosell, as well as representatives of the Sabadell and Terrassa city councils, and the entire Impulsa Foundation team, which works tirelessly to provide opportunities and support to young talent.
For me, this experience has a very special value. Being able to share the path with my mentored student and see their personal and professional evolution is one of the great satisfactions that Vocational Training gives me.
I firmly believe in the potential of young people. Many times they just need someone to listen to them, guide them and encourage them to believe in themselves. Accompanying them from the time they are still “diamonds in the rough” until they discover their own value and begin to walk alone in the world of work is, without a doubt, an extraordinary human experience.
VET continues to demonstrate that it is much more than a training path: it is a tool for social transformation, equal opportunities and building a future.
This new closing of the course leaves behind many hours of work, commitment and enthusiasm, but above all it leaves people prepared to face new professional and personal challenges.
I will continue to bet and work to promote young talent, because when a young person discovers their potential… the future begins to take shape.
