Finder expands its catalog of industrial automation solutions with the addition of new models to its 78 Series of switched-mode power supplies, a range designed to meet the growing demands of industry for energy efficiency, reliability, and operational continuity. The new offering includes single-phase, two-phase, and three-phase versions up to 960 W, capable of adapting to a wide range of industrial environments and automation applications.
Subjected to rigorous quality controls, the new 78 Series power supplies combine high performance, a compact design, and maximum installation flexibility, positioning themselves as an advanced solution for electrical panels, control systems, production lines, elevators, and other industrial applications.

Developed to ensure stable operation even under demanding conditions, the 78 Series stands out for its high efficiency, low standby power consumption, adjustable DC output voltage, and varistor-based surge protection. Furthermore, all models integrate short-circuit protection with automatic reset, thermal protection with automatic shutdown, and the option for parallel connection to increase load capacity or implement redundant systems.
The complete range is designed for 35 mm DIN rail mounting (EN 60715) and incorporates cage terminals that facilitate both installation and maintenance.
Solutions for every industrial need
The 78 Series is structured in different versions adapted to the specific needs of each installation:
Single-phase models: efficiency in confined spaces
The new single-phase models cover power ratings from 75 W to 480 W, with 24 V DC outputs. The 78.J1 and 78.W1 versions offer a compact solution for standard applications, while the 78.X1 and 78.Y1 models incorporate a two-stage design with PFC (Power Factor Correction) to improve energy efficiency.
All of them offer peak current up to 30% and a temporary current surge capability for 3 seconds, optimizing performance under dynamic loads.
Two-phase versions: versatility and status monitoring
The wide-range two-phase range, available from 60 W to 480 W, adds an auxiliary “DC OK” status contact for operational monitoring. The higher-power models also integrate a constant current limiting circuit and a two-stage PFC, providing greater stability and protection in complex industrial applications.
Three-phase power supplies: maximum power and high performance
For high-energy-demand applications, Finder offers three-phase models up to 960 W. The three-phase 78 Series can even generate up to 3840 W by connecting four power supplies in parallel and offers two-phase operation, guaranteeing operational continuity even under critical conditions.
These versions incorporate an auxiliary DC OK contact, constant current limiter, dual-stage PFC, and temporary overcurrent capacity of up to 30%, making them an ideal solution for advanced industrial installations.
Designed for modern industry
The 78 Series power supplies are especially suited for applications such as control and distribution panels, assembly and production lines, elevators, and lifts, where reliability and power stability are essential.
With this expanded range, Finder reinforces its position as a leading manufacturer of solutions for industrial automation and control, offering a complete family of power supplies capable of adapting to any power requirement and electrical configuration.
