At a time when we talk so much about the future, sustainability, and the energy transition, there’s something that doesn’t always receive the recognition it deserves: the people who, with their time, dedication, and commitment, are building that future from the ground up.
Today, I want to express my deep admiration for the electrical and telecommunications installation professionals who are actively participating in outreach initiatives in training centers throughout Spain.
Especially in the Feníe Energía Foundation’s “Energy Agents” program.

These are professionals who step outside their daily routines, their companies, their construction sites, their responsibilities… to enter primary school classrooms. To talk with children. To spark curiosity. To instill values.
Because what they are doing goes far beyond explaining what electricity is or how an installation works.
👉 They are conveying respect for energy.
👉 They are fostering awareness of responsible consumption.
👉 They are showing that behind every plug, every connection, or every system lies knowledge, effort, and professionalism.
And, above all, they are dignifying a profession.
An essential, beautiful profession with an absolutely leading role in the present and future of our society.
Because we cannot talk about the energy transition without talking about them.
We cannot talk about decarbonization without considering their expertise.
We cannot build a sustainable future without those who make it possible every day with their own hands.
These professionals don’t just install, repair, or maintain.
They also educate. They inspire. They cultivate vocations.
And that, at a time when we so desperately need to bring young people closer to the world of Vocational Training and trades, is invaluable.
Thank you for being an example.
Thank you for your commitment.
Thank you for helping to build, from the classroom, a more conscious, better-prepared, and more sustainable society.
Because the future isn’t just designed…
👉 it’s also taught.
