A few days ago, I had the opportunity to give a presentation to the students of the Higher Level Vocational Training Program in Electricity and Telecommunications at the XABEC Training Center in Valencia, in a session sponsored by Schneider Electric.
And I can only describe it with one word: fantastic. Fantastic because of the students’ engagement. Fantastic because of their attitude.
And, above all, fantastic because of the motivation they demonstrated throughout the entire session.

From the very first moment, something very special was created in the classroom: a sense of connection between my professional experience and the experiences they themselves are having in their training.
Although they are still taking their first steps in the professional world, their vision, their questions, and their reflections demonstrated that Vocational Training is building real talent for the present and future of our sector. Currently, these students are in the midst of their Dual Vocational Training program, alternating their learning between the educational center and companies in the province of Valencia.
During this last term of the course, they are undergoing a very intensive training experience: 4 days a week at the company 1 day at the educational center This model, which will continue until the end of June, undoubtedly represents one of the most effective learning methods. Because it is in this balance between theory and practice, between classroom and company, that professional skills are truly consolidated.
The companies that host these young people are not only teaching them a trade. They are also discovering talent, commitment, and vocation. And I am convinced that many of them, when this training period ends, will see these students as their future professionals.
I left the center with a very clear feeling: when education, business, and the motivation of young people come together, Vocational Training demonstrates its full potential.
Thanks to the XABEC Training Center, to Schneider Electric for their collaboration, and especially to the students for reminding me of something very important:
👉 The future of technical trades is in very good hands.
