Visiting CIFP Luis Suñer in Alzira: innovation, talent and Vocational Education connected to industry

During my recent visit to CIFP Luis Suñer Sanchis in Alzira, in the province of Valencia, I had the opportunity to discover first-hand one of the leading Vocational Education and Training centres in the Valencian Community.

The purpose of the visit was to explore its facilities, meet the educational team and learn about the different vocational training professional families offered at the centre, all of them focused on preparing students for the current challenges of the labour market.

A centre committed to high-quality training

CIFP Luis Suñer stands out for its commitment to modern, practical vocational training aligned with the needs of companies. During the visit, I was able to see the excellent work being carried out in its workshops, technical classrooms and learning spaces, where students develop real skills closely linked to professional environments.

Vocational Education and Training has become one of the most solid pathways to employment, especially in technical and industrial sectors that increasingly demand highly qualified talent.

Innova Lab remoto 4.0: innovation applied to training

One of the most remarkable spaces I visited was the Innova Lab remoto 4.0, a project promoted by the centre itself that represents an important step forward in the digitalisation of vocational training.

This laboratory enables the development of advanced learning environments connected to Industry 4.0, providing remote access to equipment and technologies that bring students closer to real industrial environments.

The project has been made possible thanks to institutional support and is funded by the Ministry of Education, Vocational Training and Sports, the European Union and the Recovery, Transformation and Resilience Plan, within initiatives aimed at promoting educational innovation and modernising vocational training centres.

Preparing the professionals of the future

Centres like CIFP Luis Suñer show that vocational education in Spain is evolving towards a more technological model, closely connected with companies and future-oriented.

Initiatives such as the Innova Lab remoto 4.0 clearly demonstrate how education can integrate innovation to provide students with more complete, digital and industry-oriented learning experiences.

I would like to thank the centre’s team for their warm welcome and for the opportunity to learn about the outstanding work they are doing to promote young talent and vocational education.

Because investing in vocational training means investing in the future.
