Video intercom manufacturer Fermax has been selected for the intercom system at Valencia’s new Roig Arena, the new home of the Valencia Basket team and one of Europe’s most important indoor arenas, with a capacity of 15,200 spectators for basketball games and 20,000 for concerts. For this project, Fermax chose its range of vandal-resistant and customizable Marine Elite entrance panels, a solution that integrates the advantages of SIP technology and adapts to the arena’s architectural environment with a unique design for each entrance.
“We specifically manufactured 11 vandal-resistant Marine Elite panels for the main entrances to the Roig Arena, respecting the architecture and aesthetics of the venue,” explains Guillermo Villanova, Sales Director of Fermax in Spain. “Thanks to advanced hydrographics, each sign incorporates an image representing the many events already hosted by this new stadium.”
Ten of these access points serve restricted areas for staff and suppliers, while the eleventh leads directly to the Valencia Basket offices. Furthermore, thanks to SIP technology, all the signs are connected to the venue’s surveillance system, ensuring compatibility between the video intercom system and centralized access control.
