Receiving the FPCat 2024 Award: a recognition of good practices in Vocational Training

This October we received the FPCat 2024 Award for good practices in Vocational Training, an award that recognizes our commitment to inclusive VET, connected to the territory and with a real social impact.

The jury highlighted the work of the Impulsa Foundation for its contribution to promoting equal opportunities and for the good results of success and job placement of young participants. This award highlights a decade of commitment and effort to build more fair, sustainable and humane training and employment itineraries.

Pride and commitment as a volunteer mentor
As a volunteer mentor for years, I feel a part of this award as mine. It is a personal satisfaction to see how, with my little bit of sand, I can contribute to accompanying talented young people who are looking for their path in Vocational Training. Mentoring is a transformative tool: it creates bonds, generates trust and opens doors to new opportunities.

Seeing how these young people progress, overcome challenges and project themselves towards their professional future with hope and determination is, without a doubt, the best reward. And this collective recognition reinforces the idea that, when we educate from equality and support, we multiply the potential of society.

We continue to work for the future of young people
This award encourages us to continue working so that no young person is left behind for economic or social reasons. Thank you to all the people, entities and companies that have accompanied us throughout these ten years of experience and that make the mission of Impulsa possible: to give real opportunities to those who need them most.

Congratulations to the entire team and all the mentors who, day after day, make this social transformation a reality through Vocational Training.
