Yesterday, I had the pleasure of joining FERMAX, a leading company in communication and access control systems, at the 1st edition of the Digitalisation Week in Catalonia, organised by the Department of Education and Vocational Training of the Government of Catalonia.
The event, held at the iconic Escola de Treball in Barcelona, brought together over 140 VET teachers who participated in workshops and challenges focused on advancing curriculum digitalisation in their schools.
FERMAX was brilliantly represented by Verónica Lasso, National Technical Back Office Coordinator, and Jorge Valiente, Regional Delegate for Catalonia, Andorra, and the Balearic Islands. Both shared valuable insights into how technology can strengthen the connection between companies and education, and help develop young talent.
