I recently had the opportunity to visit the headquarters of AMAIM, the Malaga Association of Installer Companies, and I must say I was deeply impressed by the work they carry out in support of the professional fabric of the region. AMAIM not only represents a broad network of installation companies but also provides them with essential support through specialized services, institutional representation, and a strong commitment to continuous training.

During my visit, I witnessed firsthand how this organization operates with professionalism, close collaboration, and forward-thinking vision. Their role as a liaison with industry-leading companies and institutions is vital to defending the interests of their member companies and helping them access tools for competitiveness and technical upskilling.
As part of the event, I had the privilege of presenting my book “Construyendo Caminos Duales” (“Building Dual Pathways”), a first-person narrative about Vocational Education and the importance of trades and skilled professions. I shared my reflections and personal experiences that have led me to firmly believe in vocational training as a sustainable, inclusive, and high-quality path for the future.
I would like to express my special thanks to Santi Márquez, AMAIM’s manager, for his warm welcome, and to Luisa Muñoz, head of training and marketing, for her professionalism and attention throughout the day. Thank you for opening the doors of an association that so clearly reflects the values of commitment, professional development, and service vocation.
I am convinced that AMAIM will continue to be a key pillar for the evolution of the sector in Málaga and a shining example of how business associations can make a real difference in the present and future of technical professions.
