I had the privilege of visiting the new Schneider Electric offices in Madrid, located in San Sebastián de los Reyes. More than just a corporate HQ, this building is a model of functional, digital, and sustainable innovation — a glimpse into the energy sector’s future.
This space exemplifies technological rehabilitation, focused on energy efficiency and user well-being. A digital environment where operational costs are optimized and people’s comfort is prioritized.
Led through the new “Innovation Hub” by the excellent Héctor Martín (Technical Sales Engineer), and with the support of Alberto Gutiérrez (Electrical Programs Coordinator), I explored the latest innovations Schneider Electric is developing to advance smart and sustainable buildings.
As a vocational education advocate, this visit reaffirmed our shared commitment: bringing the real-world tech environment closer to students and vocational schools, especially through Dual Vocational Training. It’s a joint effort to empower young talent and bridge the education–industry gap.
Together, Schneider Electric and I are building pathways where education meets innovation.
