«Empowering the Future: Lessons from BWAW on Female Presence and Vocational Training»

The recent edition of BWAW (Barcelona Woman Acceleration Week) allowed me to immerse myself in a space where the female voice and leadership shone brightly. As an attendee, I had the opportunity to participate in some of the 15 scheduled sessions, each of them led by women with inspiring careers and powerful reflections on the role of women in today’s society.

The speakers addressed challenges and advances in sectors such as technology, sustainability and education, highlighting the importance of breaking down barriers and building equitable paths. This experience was not only enriching on a personal level, but also made me reflect deeply on Vocational Training (VET). VET, with its practical and direct approach to the world of work, plays a crucial role in empowering women, offering them concrete tools to access sectors traditionally dominated by men.

Promoting female inclusion in VET is not only a question of equality, but also of harnessing the talent and diversity needed to face the challenges of the 21st century. It is essential that we continue working to make these opportunities visible and promote VET that inspires more women to lead change.

The BWAW was clear proof that the future is inclusive and that VET has a lot to contribute to this path. 💪👩‍🎓
