From the moment it acquired Hitecsa, the company took a giant leap forward, complementing its offering and enabling it to provide more tailored solutions for all types of commercial and industrial buildings, such as airports, hospitals, hotels, supermarkets, and shops. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Various studies predict that, by 2030, the demand for air-to-water and air-to-air heat pump solutions, for both residential and large-scale installations, will increase sixfold, reaching a level projected to continue until 2034. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>To meet this challenge with the necessary guarantees, BAXI decided in 2021 to acquire Hitecsa, a company traditionally known in the market for offering comprehensive climate control solutions for large facilities, encompassing R&amp;D, manufacturing, and extensive pre-sales support. Hitecsa contributed its production plant in Vilanova i la Geltr\u00fa (Barcelona), where its headquarters were located, to BAXI. BAXI has committed to its continued operation, ensuring that this center remains a cornerstone of the brand and is fully aligned with the company&#8217;s growth objectives.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>One Team, One Goal<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cThe HVAC market is growing rapidly, and at BDR Thermea Iberia, we are prepared to meet this challenge,\u201d says Joan Blanch, the top representative of the Dutch-owned company in Spain and Portugal.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Blanch adds, \u201cWe are facing the need to decarbonize the current building stock, not only from a sustainability perspective but also due to the urgent need to reduce the cost of building climate control.
