In recent years, Dual Vocational Education and Training has established itself as a real driver of employability and business competitiveness. And I say this not only from my experience working with schools and companies, but also from the facts: in Catalonia, in just five years, we\u2019ve gone from 590 students<\/strong> in this model to over 5,000<\/strong>. This growth is no coincidence.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Dual VET is much more than \u201ctraining apprentices.\u201d It\u2019s a strategic alliance between educational centres and companies where everyone wins<\/strong>. For companies, it means the opportunity to:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u2705 Include training content aligned with their real activity.
\u2705 Reduce external recruitment processes thanks to an in-house talent pipeline.
\u2705 Prepare the generational replacement of their workforce with young, motivated people.
\u2705 Get to know future employees first-hand, seeing their commitment and alignment with the company\u2019s values.
\u2705 Decide on hiring with full knowledge at the end of the training period.
\u2705 Recover the investment in training in the medium term.
\u2705 Improve their image and social responsibility, showing commitment to the territory and local talent.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Experience shows that when a young person trains within the company, they truly learn the culture, the tools, and the real pace of the sector. At the same time, the company receives energy, fresh ideas, and the chance to shape professionals \u201ctailored\u201d to their needs.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

At a time when attracting and retaining talent is one of the biggest challenges in the labour market, Dual VET is not just an option\u2026 it\u2019s a winning strategy<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
